Quality appraisal: rMETRIQ
The revised Medical Education Translational Resources: Impact and Quality (rMETRIQ) score provides a structured approach to appraising an online educational resource. Its seven items address content, credibility, and review. Each item scores 0–3, for a total of 0–21.
Use it to assess features such as references, authorship, and review processes. The score does not independently verify factual accuracy or currency. Check the underlying evidence, publication or update date, and relevance to your patient and setting.

Keeping your resource collection useful
Save direct links to a small set of resources you use regularly. For clinical tools, check the intended population and current version before use. When a recommendation could change care, review its supporting evidence and your local pathway.
A resource’s inclusion here does not mean HipPEMcrates has independently verified every item it publishes. External resources vary in review processes, update frequency, and applicability. This directory supports education and clinical reference alongside professional judgment and local policies.
