The PEM Podcast Is Back

After a hiatus, The PEM Podcast is officially returning – with a new name and a new home at HipPEMcrates.

Hosted by Dr. Robert Belfer, the podcast features thoughtful conversations, practical teaching, and the people and ideas shaping pediatric emergency medicine. Originally launched as the CHOP PEM Podcast, the show has been renamed to reflect its broader community of clinicians, educators, researchers, and innovators in PEM.

In the upcoming season, Dr. Belfer will be joined by national and international experts to explore important – and sometimes controversial – questions in pediatric emergency care. The first episodes will focus on pediatric sepsis, including emerging evidence, fluid selection, and how evolving recommendations should influence bedside care.
